the ingredients were fine and it came really fast (that's what she said) but there was just no, chemistry between the ingredients. it just didnt taste that good. a lot for your money, but i with there was a little more flavor.

Meh. Overrated. You have to eat the burrito with a knife and fork, since it isn't wrapped fully and doesn't even come in a foil wrap.

Every time I order from here I'll hope it'll be better but it never is. Bland, generic burrito put together sloppily. No flavor. Quick and easy but thats about it. I gave it a two because I've always liked their salads and their dressing.

I've ordered from here quite a lot in the past. It's been good and on time in the past but today was another story. Estimate was 30-45 minutes. Then updated to 45-60 minutes. Took a little over 80 minutes and apparently the food was out with the delivery guy the whole time because it arrived cold (quite a feat with the current temperature in NY). I'll give them one more chance but I'm pretty bummed about this experience.

They are amazing for having some many milk-free options. I can't have milk and have missed mexican food tremendously. I love the plate of two tacos with soy cheese and grilled tofu. It's the perfect portion. The quesadillas with soy cheese, tofu, and spinach is also kicking with a side black beans of perfection. The "mini" burrito is a full serving and the regular burrito is enough for two sit down meals. The gauc n' chips are killer at parties (though it's not a tremendous portion of gauc). I LOVE this place and probably eat here way too much. Delivery is quick. The portions and flavors are great. Everyone I show this place to loves it as well. Benny's has my vote.

tacos are complete mush by the time they arrive. completely buried in rice, truly gross that they considered that acceptable delivery. a shame because this place used to be decent. when you specifically tell the person taking the order to just leave out the rice to prevent the tacos from arriving in horrible shape, and then they still send them the same way...well that speaks for itself. absolutely a joke.

Pretty run of the mill burrito - I'm always surprised at how packed this place is when I walk by. Unfortunately there aren't many other options in the neighborhood for quick basic Mexican. Delivery is always fast though!

I have had guacamole from many other Mexican restaurants and Benny's has the best guacamole! They are also very accomodating to special instructions on your order. Not too mention the prices are great.

Probably a 3.5. I like that you can substitute brown rice, whole wheat wraps, etc to attempt to be healthier. The side of chips was disappointing (sealed bag of Doritos-like chips). Salsa/Pico de gallo was good.

You can't go wrong with Benny's lunch specials. Don't be fooled by the name "mini quesadilla," either. What you'll wind up with is a full-sized quesadilla complete with generous guac, black beans, cheese, and a delicious salad on the side. The chips and salsa that come along are fresh, salty, and crispy--just how I like it. I'm a huge fan.

Awesome as always. The Jerk Chicken Burrito is excellent. The Taco Salad is also very good - but don;t forget to ask for it in a Taco Shell -- as they don;t do that automatically anymore.

waited over 2 hours for food to arrive. Called three times. Order came incomplete. They said they would have it sent right out. Its been another 45 minutes, and still the rest of the food hasnt arrived. Every time I called, spoke with a different person. Claimed to credit me for 25$, only credited 20$. The point isnt the money, but the fact Im going on my third hour. By the way. I only ordered a bean and cheese burrito and Guac and chips. Furious.

I order from them all the time and almost always nothing is wrong... One problem they do have is when you obviously mark other options like the healthier options whole wheat tortilla, brown rice... etc and they send you burritos or other things with the main normal ingredients. Tonight had them resend because they sent NONE of my marked healthier options and it has taken over an hour to get it resent (I live around the corner from them) and it is still not here. Furious.

had the chicken burrito. it's fine but nothing amazing. if a good mexican taqueria in california would get 5 stars, and some of the more legitimately ethnic places uptown might be a 4, this place is somewhere between a 2 and 3. i'll be mildly generous and say 3.

Benny's has fast delivery and some pretty good healthy options. Its handy for a quick, inexpensive bite. Their non-dairy burrito is good as is the guacamole. My husband has ordered the quesadilla before and I thought it was v. tasty. I wouldn't say its authentic mexican cuisine by any means - but definitely a solid delivery option.

The food is not bad. Medium on the flavor, not bad for the price. They are the worst at delivery though. I give up with them. Honestly it has more than once taken over an hour to get a single burrito to show up.

Love the food, but the pickup service has been completely unacceptable lately. I don't know what happened since the school year started. There have been numerous times when the food was not ready (even after the SeamlessWeb pickup time). And it really sucks to wait for close to an hour only to have the order be wrong when it finally comes. I won't be ordering from them for a while.

Too often when I order from them my food's lukewarm when it gets to me, and you can tell that the cheese was not even fully melted when it was "hot" because it's still all separated. Kinda gross.

I always enjoy dining in at Benny's. However, having food delivered took over an hour (with 25 - 40 minutes advertised) and when I opened my bag, a free floating container of salsa had burst open onto everything. My lunch break was practically over by the time I finished wiping things down.

Delivery guy refused to elevator up to the office, so I had to fetch the order from the street. I think he just didn't want to park the bike. The nachos are just tortilla chips made soggy by the enormous amount of white cheese. No other toppings made it quite boring and dull. The burrito had no flavor.

Not good. I ordered the quesadilla grande and it came with only cheese, jalepenos (bc I added it) and chicken. NO salsa, no guac, nothing.. I called to complain and they couldn't fix it bc the kitchen was closed. I got a refund. AVOID

We used to order from Benny's Burrito frequently. One botched order is all it took to stop ordering. The delivery person forgot two of the drinks in the order and the manager refused to send out the correct order. After calling the restaurant to fix the order, they had the nerve to call back twice to say that they were not going to send us out the two drinks that we ordered. Awful customer service!

NEVER order from here! I have ordered a few times and each time they have got the order wrong and takes nearly an hour. This last time they forgot the chips (in the guac and chips). I called - they said they will send it straight away (I even heard them in the background saying 'another bag of chips was missing') 30mins later I get a call saying they are not sending them because there are no orders coming my area. They even said the delivery guy 'was sure he packed them'

I was very disappointed with the food I received. It was cold, all thrown onto a plate without care. The tacos were soggy. The flan and even the sour cream were watery messes. So disappointing for what is usually a good place to eat. Definitely not a good experience.

I love going to the restaurant, so I know this place gets stupid-busy. If I have special requests, or instructions, I call once I get order confirmation, and they're nice enough on the phone. The order comes correctly, and it is SO good. Still a favorite. (try the shredded beef burrito!)

These burritos are absolutely correct. I'm a big fan of the Grilled Chicken Burrito and the Shredded Beef Burritos - huge, tasty, and made to order. Benny's always honors my special requests and generally delivers well within the estimated delivery time. I even have 2 different meals here saved as favorites!
